The CL-412 High Resolution Performance Plus Printer sets the new standard for value and performance in a high resolution industrial bar code printer. The CL-412's rugged steel construction, its high speed 32-bit RISC processor, high resolution printhead and low price combine to give users top performance in any labeling application, and the superior quality and value expected from SATO. A High Speed 32-bit RISC is utilized in the CL-412 for maximum performance. The CL-412 delivers 6" per second throughput, even with changes in text or graphics between labels. Even UCC/EAN 128 Serialized Shipping Container Labels. Automatic incrementing serial numbers and check digits are produced without pausing between labels. 16 of the most popular bar code symbologies including the new 2-D codes, 12 proportional and mono-spaced text fonts and 10 scalable Vector fonts are built into the printer for great looking labels with minimal programming. TrueTypeŽ fonts can be downloaded to the CL-412 to be used as internal fonts. For virtually unlimited flexibility the CL-412 incorporates two PCMCIA expansion slots. By installing one or two PCMCIA cards, users can add up to 4MB of additional memory to store formats, fonts, graphics such as logos or extend the print area. Users can develop an unlimited library of PCMCIA cards to meet their needs.
The interface in the CL-412 is based on a new SATO design: Plug-in Interface Modules. Users select the interface type needed. Other printers in this price range typically offer only one choice; with the CL-412 you get multiple choices.
